Trust. That’s what Dale Vanek has spent the past 24 years cultivating with Platte Valley customers. Dale takes the trust-building process seriously because it’s a key to success and a positive customer experience.
“When I build a relationship with customers, they don’t question the repair, they just say ‘go ahead and do it’ because they know they can trust me.”

Growing up, Dale would help on his grandpa’s farm. It was here that he discovered his love of turning wrenches and solving problems. He is inspired by his family who continues to show him the benefits of working hard and helping others. When asked his favorite part about his job, he answered without hesitation.
“Every day is different. I fix different things. I experience different customers. The situation is always changing, and it makes the job interesting.”
Dale joined Platte Valley because they embodied the values he wanted in a company. He most enjoys the work flexibility, the family-oriented culture, and the people he gets to work with each day.
Platte Valley service technicians are encouraged to run their bay like they would run their own business. This mindset promotes efficient problem solving to help customers get back up and running sooner. That’s exactly how Dale operates.
Outside of work, Dale loves being with his family. His free time is spent camping, hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycles. A music enthusiast, Dale also runs a DJ business playing for weddings and other events throughout the year.
Dale’s positive, can-do attitude helps him work hard and stay humble. And it’s one of the many reasons we’re proud to have him on the Platte Valley team.
