Todd Scriven has been a John Deere fan for life. His first job was at a John Deere dealership in Columbus where he worked after school and on the weekends until he graduated high school. Todd has been with our Humphrey location for 31 years, seeing four different dealerships in the same building.
“I like to say Platte Valley chose me,” Todd joked. “I came with the building.”
Throughout the years, Todd has seen every aspect of the store. He started in California in the service department as a leak detection technician and then later advanced as risk free serv service manager. From there, he spent some years as a customer service representative.
“I enjoy working with the customers, building new relationships, but really maintaining that personal relationship with our regular customers is my favorite thing about Platte Valley,” Todd said. Todd started moving into equipment sales when he took a position as the AMS Specialist. His knowledge and understanding of the equipment and electronic programs give Todd the ability to provide customers with the very best service and information as their Account Manager.

“Platte Valley uses the term “trusted advisor” when referring to their sales individuals. I can’t think of a more fitting way to describe Todd. I know that’s exactly how he is perceived by our customers,” Schure continued.
“I do my best to try and meet the customer’s needs,” Todd said. “I just keep working until I find the solution.”
Outside of work, Todd enjoys hunting and raising livestock. He also enjoys grilling different things on his Green Egg, from pies to beef stew, and his favorite pastime is spending time with the grandkids, friends, and family.
